Margaret Bourdeaux Arbuckle Award

Established as a lasting tribute to Dr. Arbuckle’s work on behalf of children, families and public education, the awards is presented by GEA where she served as Executive Director before her retirement in 2013. The Arbuckle Award is presented to someone with a long history of support for quality public education. The recipient is a community leader with vision, a tireless and passionate convener, a strong advocate with a heart for all children having a fair chance for a successful life.
