Teacher Supply Warehouse

The average teacher spends $600 – $1000 of their own money on classroom supplies. The Teacher Supply Warehouse is a community collaboration designed to off-set those costs by providing high-demand, every-day classroom supplies to Guilford County Schools (GCS) educators.

GEA is only able to operate the Warehouse because of the generous support of our community. To see how you can help, please see the information on the right-hand side.

GCS teachers and educators – Bring your GCS I.D. to your shopping appointment. GCS educators can shop up to 4 times a year. Anyone with a GCS I.D. can shop at the Teacher Supply Warehouse!

Donation Guidelines

  • The Warehouse is currently accepting gently-used supplies and new classroom supplies. A list of the most needed items can be found on the right of this page.
  • Donors should come to the back of the Warehouse at 311 Pomona Dr., Suite E. GEA has a loading dock there that makes supply drop off easy!

Hours to drop off donations:

Monday – Thursday

How the Teacher Supply Warehouse Works

The Teacher Supply Warehouse is divided up into 2 different sections. At each visit, GCS teachers can shop in both areas for a variety of items up to 4 times a year.

TSW Basics

  • Supplies: The high-demand basics like paper, pencils, glue sticks, dry erase markers, copy paper and more.
  • How It Works:  At each visit, teachers are allotted a set amount of points for shopping in this section. Each item will have a point assigned to it.

TSW Extra

  • Supplies: A wide variety of new and gently-used items, including office supplies, copy and craft paper, desk organizers, plastic bins, art supplies, presentation boards,  books and much more!  We recently received nearly 20  pallets of various NEW office supplies from Staples that will be available. We also have donated items from Joann Fabrics & Crafts and individually wrapped snacks from Backpack Beginnings.
  • How It Works: There are NO limits in this section so be prepared to stock up on some amazing items!
