As the founding Board Chair of Guilford Education Alliance (GEA), James F. “Jim” Morgan set the stage for increased support of quality public education, which in turn sets the stage for future economic growth in Guilford County.
Jim believes that the future of our children and our state depends on preparing every child for success in school, career, community and life. He has worked tirelessly to ensure that North Carolina is always reaching beyond merely providing an adequate education for our state’s children. His hope that we can do more led Jim to galvanize leaders in both High Point and Greensboro to form GEA, bringing the county together to collectively affect change.
Over the course of his long and distinguished career in Guilford County, Jim has been the chairman of more than 70 nonprofits. He truly lives his life sparking possibility for children in our county, and we are grateful for his leadership and vision.
